Wireawg is an offline reference for American Wire Gauge (AWG) sizes from 4/0 through 40, with diameter, cross-section area, and approximate solid-copper resistance at room temperature. Keep personal notes for spools, runs, and reminders on the same phone.
Browse the chart
Scroll the full AWG table on Home or search by gauge number. Tap a row to open Detail with inch and millimeter diameter, kcmil area, and resistance. Star gauges you use often and filter the list to favorites when you are in the shop.
Workshop notes
Add notes with a title and details. Link a note to a gauge when it describes stock on hand or a circuit, or leave it general. Recent notes appear on Home; open any note to edit or delete. Everything stays in local storage on the device.
Guide and settings
The Guide explains how AWG numbering works, how to read the chart, and that listed values are reference data rather than installation instructions. In Settings, choose millimeters or inches as the primary diameter display, load sample notes to see a filled list, or reset everything to start clean.
Wireawg stores notes, stars, and preferences only on this phone. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no ads. The app does not use the internet. Use manufacturer data and local electrical codes for installed work; Wireawg is a bench chart and notebook you would otherwise keep on paper.
