Shepherd is a Bible reading tracker. Not another reader — a place to keep score of the reading you are already doing.

Open a book, tap the chapters you finished, and watch the grid fill in. That is the whole interaction. Everything else in the app exists to show you what those taps add up to.

MAKE A PLAN THAT FITS YOU
Name it, pick the books, set a start and a due date. The whole Bible in a year, the New Testament over the summer, or a single walk through the Psalms — Shepherd does not push a schedule on you. Keep several plans side by side and switch whichever one is current.

SEE THE PROGRESS
Every plan carries its own percentage, its own finish date, and its own book count. A monthly calendar marks the days you actually read. A testament view splits Old from New so you can see where you have been spending your time. Nothing is buried; it is all on one screen.

MARK A WHOLE BOOK AT ONCE
Coming in partway through? Mark All Read fills a book in one tap, so your plan starts from where you truly are instead of from zero.

BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY
No account. No sign-up. No sync waiting on a server. Shepherd keeps your reading on your device and works fine in airplane mode. There is no feed, no streak shaming, and no notification begging you to come back — just the record of what you read, waiting when you want it.

YOUR LANGUAGE
English, Korean, Spanish, French, German, and Chinese, with all 66 book names translated in each. Light and dark themes follow your system.

Shepherd tracks your reading; it does not contain the Bible text. Read in the translation, app, or paper Bible you already love, then come here to mark the chapter.
