Loan Amount of ₹1,00,000 for 24 months may have an interest rate of 12% p.a. (1% p.m. for 24 months - interest rate calculated on reducing balance method) with EMI ₹4,707, the total interest payable would be ₹4,707 x 24 months - ₹1,00,000 = ₹12,968
The processing fees (excl. GST) is ₹2,000 and the disbursed amount - ₹1,00,000 - ₹2,000 = ₹98,000
Total Amount Payable: ₹4,707 x 24 months = ₹1,12,968
Total Cost of Loan = Interest Amount + Processing Fees = ₹12,968 + ₹2,000 = ₹14,968

Ratings and reviews

I'm not sure who made this app but it has some ridiculous restrictions like the app won't start if Orbot and Tor Browser are just installed (not even running). VPN is also a problem (not sure why). This is in 2025. Looks like they hired people from 1925 who will take a century to catch up. With such restrictions, had to decouple the mobile app to log into the website even. Mind boggling. Deserves negative ratings.

I made a ₹1500 UPI transaction through the Shriram One mobile app. The amount was debited from my bank, but the receiver never got the money. I still haven't received a refund. I contacted customer care, and they only asked me to wait 24 hours or 7 working days without giving any clear assurance. This is unacceptable — what if it was a bigger amount? There is no proper confidence in the resolution process. This raises serious doubts about the app’s security and reliability.

Poor quality app. when making a FD amount debited but FD application not submitting. They claim app having issues. If issues are there they should not allow payments causing inconvenience to the user. Even after email and customer service calls, issue not resolved. Financial app having these many issues is not acceptable.
