I just installed this and so far so good. It's a great little app for quick voice (or any other sound) recording from a reputable company. Thanks Shure, I just hope you will maintain this app forever 👍

This is the best recording app I have found for my Android phone. However, it is only good for low to medium volume recording. Recording band practice, drums, amplified bass & guitar, loud singing, etc is impossible to do without clipping even on the lowest gain setting. I contacted Shure about this but received no response. I hope Shure fixes this issue in a future update.

I've been using this app with the mic for a few months. Today when I use it for recording VO, dunno why, the gain increased drastically with the same configurations. Bars went red and recordings blows up until I adjust the gain to a very low level, so low that I couldn't monitor the sound through my ear phones. The same happened on all modes. For your reference the optimum gain level for my VO recording is about 9db now but it was like 30db before. Thank you for your attention.
