Measure 5G, 4G LTE and WiFi performance with a live signal meter, internet speed test, cell tower locator and private coverage mapping.
SignalPilot is a native Android network analyzer for understanding signal strength, mobile-network quality, WiFi performance and dead zones. It combines detailed radio diagnostics, repeat-sampled speed testing, private route recording, mapped communications-site context and practical explanations.
5G SIGNAL METER & NETWORK ANALYZER
Inspect the serving network and Android-exposed radio details, including dBm signal strength, RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, RSSI, network type, band, channel, Cell ID, PCI, TAC or LAC, bandwidth, carrier and neighboring cells. Available fields depend on your phone, modem, SIM, carrier and Android version.
WIFI & MOBILE INTERNET SPEED TEST
Test download speed, upload speed, ping, jitter and latency under download and upload load. SignalPilot repeats samples and reports medians and variability, helping separate a one-off fast result from typical performance.
Inspect the active WiFi or mobile connection, including validation, metering, VPN, captive-portal, DNS, IP, interface, frequency and available link-speed details.
PRIVATE TEST HISTORY
Keep a local history of speed tests and filter results by WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, cellular, Ethernet or other connection types. Compare typical performance and share a report when you choose.
COVERAGE MAP & DEAD-ZONE SURVEYS
Record a user-initiated walk, drive, commute, or room survey. SignalPilot stores the route privately on your phone, colors it by measured signal, and builds personal coverage cells for network-by-network comparison. Export your evidence as CSV or KML.
CELL TOWER LOCATOR
Find nearby cell towers and communications structures mapped in OpenStreetMap. Review available distance, direction, operator, technology, construction, material, height, services, references and mapping metadata.
A mapped structure is not automatically the tower serving your phone. SignalPilot keeps physical-map records separate from modem-reported radio Cell IDs and labels estimates clearly.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Tests, route history, and radio observations stay in SignalPilot’s private on-device storage. Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for this data. The app does not request background location and contains no advertising SDK.
Location and phone-state permission are used for core cellular diagnostics, explicit map updates, tower searches, and user-initiated route recording. You can delete local history from inside the app.
IMPORTANT
SignalPilot cannot strengthen a signal, force a band, select a tower, or guarantee that every modem field is available. Speed-test results naturally change with radio conditions, WiFi contention, routing, congestion, movement and server load.
