Full instructions can be found here:
silicondroid.com/hexen/hexen_user_manual.pdf

Simply double click any synth module to zoom in and out.

Controls and patch cables are all simply tap and drag when zoomed in.

48Khz DSP signal engine and 3D rendering engine gives you a very flexible, capable and fun instrument right in the palm of your hand.

Play and have fun shaping your own analogue soundscape and then mastering it down onto the built in stereo tape recorder.

This free version allows you to play with all available modules and even export audio using the TAPE module. The free version is limited: you can't save your racks. You can upgrade with an in app purchase to activate rack saving as *.hxn files.

The newest version of Hexen fixed the startup crashes (yay!), that made me EXTREMELY happy! While this is the best modular synth I've found for Android (buy it!), still on the wishlist are fixed midi input (I miss being able to use my external midi devices for control), and, possibly, ditching the A/B slider for an A/B button, or switch... I hate having to zoom in/out to move cables and devices, the zoom often seems too close or far away for what I'm trying to accomplish.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. You may already be aware of this but... if you double click any modules front panel then it toggles between fully zoomed in/out. However this would leave you too zoomed in/out by the sounds of it. I could adding a button, if one taps it then it will adjust the slider the minimal amount required to toggle mode A/B?

Super cool, even without upgrading, which I probably will do... I had no idea how to do anything at first but the help PDF file had a useful tutorial, and from there I messed around with the "radio" module to play music and simultaneously sample it (the module has a number of live stations, including some talk shows which can lead to fun sampling). Long story short, it's the beginning of some pretty fun experiments. Helps to have a stylus, using the fingers isn't easy.

Most flexible and powerful! I played with enough to warrant paying for. I've used Caustic for years but have outgrown the modular synth and reverb. It's unfortunate that Midi support is currently not working, but I see that the devs are active with many fixes. I hope to import some soon. After a few minutes of experimenting, I was able to recreate a touch pad Theremin. Wheeee!
