Ratings and reviews

Pretty good, but needs some improvements. You can only filter for shows not in your list that are trending, and cannot sort or filter those results. You can't exclude shows on your lists from the search - and again, the sorting and filtering options are basically nonexistant. There's also no 'not interested' option. ('dropped' implies you watched and gave up on something, NOT the same) As a result of these things, any searching/browsing has you scrolling past the same old stuff all the time.

Good to keep track of all the shows I watched and am currently watching. It also reminds me when a new episode comes out which is nice if you are keeping track of multiple shows and you never can seem to remember if/when a new season is coming out. The episodes and details is good. I don't think it has a reviewing writing function on the mobile version, you can only rage shows.

I like using Simkl as a memory aid, tracking the shows, anime & movies I plan to watch, and the ones that I've seen. It's interesting to see the breakdown of time spent each week, and the yearly statistics. The app has some areas of improvement over the website (for example, the tiled lists are easy to navigate through). There are things that I like better on the website though; it's much easier to read & write reviews there, and I like the memo tool. Still, I don't expect them to be identical.
