Just install the app on your device and tap "Detect Now" to get started. The My Number app will scan your SIM card and show you your phone number. If the phone number is not written on your SIM card, the app will give a free number you can call to detect your number using caller ID and display your phone number inside the app after you hang up.

Ran my credit out n couldn't top up without my number. Wasn't stored in SIM status settings. This app, amazing. Had it in seconds

The application requires you to dial a US number first, which is useless if someone wants to know the number and doesn't have outgoing credit. Also, the initial wait time is alot.

The app reads the phone number on your SIM card. If it's not written on the SIM card, the app gives a free test number to call. The call is free because no one pickups the phone. There is no other way to find your phone number using the app.

SIM apparently doesn't store number so had to make the free call but it worked. Confused why it needed internet access though. Nice and simple with no annoying ads.

When you make a test call we need to get a response from the webserver to get the info on what is your phone number. You're calling to a phone number, it then sends the info to our server what is your number, and the phone app then checks the website if you've made the phone call and what was your number.
