About this app

Gyroscope is a gyroscope sensor reader, digital level, and rotation tracker for Android. Turn your phone into a precise 3-axis gyro, bubble level, and tilt meter that shows angular velocity in real time, no calibration needed.

Whether you are hanging a shelf, balancing a camera gimbal, checking a vehicle's tilt, or studying rotation for a physics class, Gyroscope reads your device's built-in gyroscope and accelerometer and turns the raw motion data into clear, easy numbers.

▶ MAIN FEATURES
• 3-axis gyroscope live readout (X, Y, Z)
• Digital level / bubble level mode for surfaces
• Tilt & rotation detector with clear angle display
• Angular velocity shown in °/s
• Drift-free sensor fusion for stable readings
• Zero calibration — open and measure instantly
• High 50 Hz sampling rate for smooth data
• CSV / data export to share or analyze later
• Dark mode for low-light use
• Works fully offline, no account required

▶ HOW TO USE
1. Open the app and place your phone on the surface or object.
2. Read the live 3-axis gyroscope and tilt angle on screen.
3. Switch to level mode to check if something is flat or plumb.
4. Tap record to log angular velocity, then export to CSV.

▶ WHO USES IT
• DIY & home leveling — shelves, frames, furniture
• Photographers & gimbal users balancing rigs
• Drivers checking vehicle or trailer tilt
• Makers & robotics builders tuning IMU motion
• Engineers & researchers logging rotation data
• Physics students learning angular velocity
• App & sensor testers verifying the gyroscope

Gyroscope uses your device's built-in gyroscope sensor and works completely offline. Download the gyroscope, level, and rotation detector that keeps it simple.

What’s new

Axis fixes, from your reports. Roll and pitch were swapped: a phone's long axis is Y, so tilting side to side now moves Roll (Y) and tipping the top edge moves Pitch (X). The level, artificial horizon and sensor health table all follow that mapping, and the compass heading now rises as you turn clockwise. Also fixes a startup crash seen on some devices.
