About this app
Gyroscope turns your phone into a live rotation meter and bubble level. The gauge moves as soon as you open the app; press Start and Stop to get a session card with the peak rate, average rate and the peak on each axis.
LIVE READOUT
• Rotation rate on every axis: roll (Y), pitch (X), yaw (Z), plus the combined rate
• °/s, rad/s or rpm with one tap (360 °/s = 60 rpm)
• Roll, pitch and yaw angles and a scrolling chart per axis
SESSION RESULT
Start, move, Stop. The card shows:
• Duration, peak rate and average rate
• The peak on each axis
• A second-by-second trend line (up to 30 minutes)
Sessions are saved to History once (last 50). Under 2 seconds is not saved. Switching apps pauses recording in the background and the same session continues when you come back, and one cut off by the system is recovered on the next launch.
ACCURATE RECORDING
• The first 20 samples of a recording (2 seconds at 10 Hz) measure the sensor's resting offset while you hold still; it is only taken when the phone reads as still (turns slower than about 1 °/s look the same as the offset)
• Min, average, max, peak and per-axis peak hold
• 10 Hz, or 50 Hz in high-precision mode
• Zero, and a 0.5x–2.0x sensitivity that scales the displayed and recorded rates (not the angles)
TURNTABLE RPM
Lay the phone on a platter: rpm against 33⅓, 45 and 78 with the deviation in %, and a 10-second Wow & Flutter test graded good, fair or poor.
ATTITUDE, HEALTH AND LEVEL
• Artificial horizon and a resettable gyro heading (it drifts slowly; it is not a compass)
• Sensor health check: offset and noise per axis
• Bubble level with calibration and the turn-180° surface check
HISTORY AND CSV
Sessions with trend lines, CSV export of sessions and recordings (up to 18,000 samples, rates in °/s). The statistics CSV of all sessions unlocks for 24 hours after a short ad.
Keep the phone away from strong vibration and re-zero if the angles drift. A Guide tab explains each axis and unit. Interface in 30 languages.

What’s new
Gyroscope now shows the live rotation rate the moment it opens. Stop ends a recording with a result card: duration, peak and average rate, the peak on each axis and a trend line, saved to History once. Leaving the app pauses and resumes the same session. Czech, Danish, Finnish, Hebrew and Dutch are fully translated, and the roll/pitch axis labels are corrected.
