Keep a photo-based list of what you own, organized room by room. Home Inventory puts a numbered pin on the photo of each room exactly where an item sits, so you can see at a glance what is where.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Add a room and choose one photo of it.
2. Tap the photo where an item is — a numbered pin appears. Drag it to fine-tune the spot.
3. Fill in the item: name, category, unit value and currency, quantity, purchase date, serial or model number, notes and an optional close-up or receipt photo.
WHAT YOU CAN RECORD
Eleven categories: electronics, furniture, appliances, jewelry, clothing, tools, sports, kitchen, art & decor, documents and other. Quantity multiplies the unit value into an exact line total.
ITEMS TAB
Search across names, serial numbers and notes. Narrow the list by category or room, or show only items that still have no purchase date, no item photo or a value of 0. Sort by most recent, value or name.
REPORT TAB
Recorded totals for each currency — amounts in different currencies are kept apart, never added together. Bars show the split by room or by category, and counters show how many entries are still incomplete.
HTML ASSET STATEMENT
Create one HTML file with every room photo and its pins, plus each item's category, quantity, unit value, line total, purchase date, serial, notes and photo. Send it through the system share sheet to Files, email or another app. Closing the share sheet does not confirm that the file was saved — the app says so plainly.
ON YOUR DEVICE
Your rooms, items and photos stay on your device. Picked photos are copied into the app's own storage, so every pin keeps its picture.
The totals are the sum of the values you entered — not an appraisal and not a guaranteed replacement value.
