About this app

A random name picker and decision wheel for the classroom, family chores and game night. Type your entries or paste a whole list, give some entries more weight if you like, then spin for one winner, draw several names at once or split everyone into groups.

▶ SPIN WITH CHANCES YOU CAN SEE
• Every entry shows its chance in % next to the wheel.
• Weights: make an entry 2×, 3× … up to 100× more likely. The slice size on the wheel is the same chance that is used for the draw.
• The winner is chosen first with your phone's secure random number generator; the wheel then stops on it. What you see is what was drawn.

▶ FOUR WAYS TO DRAW
• Spin: one winner.
• No repeats: every entry comes up once per round, with the remaining ones shown. Reset to start a new round.
• Pick N: draw several names at once, without repeats, in random order.
• Groups: split everyone into a number of groups or groups of a set size — sizes differ by one at most.

▶ LISTS IN SECONDS
• Paste a list: one entry per line (or separated by commas). Repeated names are pointed out.
• Ready-made wheels: yes or no, coin, dice, 1 to 10, what's for dinner, chores, weekend plan, rock paper scissors.
• Colours, on/off switch per entry, reorder, duplicate a wheel, pin favourites, search.

▶ YOUR WHEELS STAY SAFE
• Every wheel and its history is saved on this phone as you go.
• Deleted a wheel by mistake? Tap UNDO.
• Save a backup file and restore it later. Restoring merges: the newer copy of each wheel is kept and deleted wheels stay deleted.

▶ HISTORY
• The recent draws of each wheel, with time and mode.
• For single spins: how often each entry came up next to how often it was expected to, calculated from the chances each spin actually had.

▶ GOOD TO KNOW
• Up to 200 entries per wheel and 300 wheels. Up to the last 100 draws per wheel are kept (fewer for very large group splits).
• Random means short runs can look uneven; the history shows the expected numbers so you can compare.
• Wheels are stored on this phone. There is no account; use a backup file to move them.
• Made for choosing and sharing out tasks, turns and teams in class, at home and with friends.
• Ads appear in the Wheels and History tabs and sometimes after you close a result — never while the wheel is spinning.
