About this app

Sitka EMS is a real-time documentation aid for code blue and resuscitation events. Built for nurses, paramedics, and physicians who need to capture every drug, rhythm, and intervention as it happens — without fumbling with paper or a clipboard.

WHAT IT DOES
• One-tap logging of drugs, rhythms, CPR cycles, shocks, intubation, IV access, ROSC, and custom events
• Live code clock with automatic CPR cycle and epinephrine interval tracking
• Built-in metronome at 100–120 BPM for compression rate
• Voice notes for hands-busy moments
• Adaptive layout for phones and tablets
• Lock-screen accessible during an active code

AFTER THE CODE
• Full chronological event log with timestamps
• Edit or annotate any event — original entries preserved for audit
• Export a clean PDF summary via the share sheet
• History of past codes stored locally

PRIVACY FIRST
• 100% offline. No accounts, no cloud, no analytics.
• All event logs, voice notes, and patient details stay on your device.
• Microphone used only for user-initiated voice notes.
• Privacy policy: https://nmiller08.github.io/sitka-ems-privacy

CUSTOMIZATION
• Edit the drug catalog — add medications, set default doses, mark favorites
• Edit the rhythm catalog
• Light, dark, and high-contrast themes
• Configurable defibrillator energy ladder

PRICING
Sitka EMS is free to try. A subscription unlocks advanced functionality.

NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE
Sitka EMS is a documentation aid. It does not provide clinical decision support, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always follow your local protocols and clinical judgment. The app does not replace certified resuscitation training (ACLS, PALS, BLS).
