About this app

Tithi Reminder keeps your important days on the Hindu calendar. Set a reminder on a tithi (say Pausha Shukla Dwadashi) and it fires on the correct day every year, automatically. You never have to work out the Gregorian date; the app computes it for you from the Panchang.

WHY TITHI, NOT DATE
A birthday, anniversary, or shraddha set by the Hindu tithi drifts across the Gregorian calendar from year to year. Tithi Reminder tracks the tithi, so the reminder always lands on the right day.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Tithi reminders: Birthdays, Anniversaries, Death anniversaries (Barasi, Shraddha etc.), and General reminders, each tied to a Hindu tithi and repeating yearly.
• Death / Shraddha series: the full sequence (daily days 1 to 15, monthly, Barsi, and Pitru-Paksha Shraddha) computed for you.
• Sunrise, sunset & moonrise alarms for any city.
• Hindu-calendar alarms: repeat by tithi (every Ekadashi, every Purnima) or by the common Gregorian rule.
• Gregorian to Tithi calculator: convert any date both ways.
• Monthly calendar with a Panchang overlay (tithi, Purnima, Amavasya, Ekadashi, eclipses).
• Amanta / Purnimanta: pick the reckoning used in your region.

PRIVACY-FIRST
Tithi Reminder collects only the email you sign in with, the name you give a reminder, and the reminders you create, all stored securely against your account. The app does NOT access your device location; you pick a city from a list for Panchang accuracy. We don't sell or share your data.
