The main object is to protect the secondary battery, which is to improve the utilization rate of the battery and prevent over charging and over discharging of the battery. The original version of this app was not good, to say the least. But it appears to have been overhauled sometime in the past six months and is better now - but *still* the SOC values are way off and the CALC capacity is also way off - this is after all of the recommended calibration steps. What is worse is that the CALC capacity continually drifts down. I contacted SOK and they confirmed that they still have software problems and to ignore the SOC and capacity values. Use a shunt instead.

So far so good. It automatically connects to my battery and tells me the current charge and other bits of info. Haven't found anything to complain about so far 🤞 Edit:My battery no longer connects to the app. Battery is showing good voltage so I can only assume it's the app or BMS that aren't working.

Readings have always been off. Multimeter shows vastly different more accurate numbers. Batteries need to be charged, then drained, recharged, and drained again to obtain correct readings. This does not happen. Readings become even more disjointed. The batteries are fantastic, this app is horrible.
