Live Earth Maps is a maps and GPS navigation app with a satellite map view, a route planner, turn-by-turn voice directions and live traffic. Find any place on the world map, switch to satellite view to see it from above, and get directions straight there.

SATELLITE MAP VIEW — SEE ANY PLACE FROM ABOVE

Switch the map satellite view on and the plain map becomes detailed aerial imagery. Look at rooftops, roads, fields, coastlines and terrain from above, anywhere on the world map. Use the satellite view to check what a neighbourhood actually looks like before you go, trace a road that has no street name, or find a landmark you can only recognise from the air.

- Map — clean street map for everyday navigation
- Satellite — aerial imagery of the same area
- Terrain — elevation, hills and landscape

Satellite and terrain layers use high-resolution aerial imagery supplied by map providers and refreshed periodically. It is a detailed view from above, not a real-time camera feed — no app can show a live video image of your street from orbit, and this one does not claim to.
