Password Forge is a private password generator, Android Autofill helper, and local encrypted vault for Android.

Create strong passwords, passphrases, PINs, and Wi-Fi secrets, save them in an encrypted vault that stays on your device, and use Android Autofill to insert supported credentials in apps and browsers. Password Forge is built for a focused workflow without accounts, cloud sync, ads, subscriptions, or unnecessary online services.

Password Generator

- Generate random passwords, memorable passphrases, numeric PINs, and Wi-Fi passwords
- Choose length and character rules
- Enable or disable uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols, and ambiguous characters
- Use presets such as Compatible, Standard, Legacy, and Max
- Fine-tune presets with the length slider and toggles
- Generate only when you tap Generate

Strength Notes

- See strength score, entropy, and estimated crack-time guidance
- Read notes that explain what makes a password stronger or weaker
- Get tips for length, symbols, uppercase letters, or passphrase word count

Local Encrypted Vault

- Store entry name, username, password, website, notes, category, and credential type
- Save password and Wi-Fi credential entries
- Organize entries by social, finance, work, streaming, shopping, gaming, travel, security, entertainment, and more
- View, edit, copy, and manage entries directly inside the app
- Keep vault data stored locally on your device

Android Autofill

- Insert saved credentials in supported apps and browsers
- Fill username and password when both fields are exposed by the target app or browser
- Save new credentials after Android detects a completed login form
- Update existing vault credentials when a saved username uses a new password
- Match credentials by website domain or app package where available
- Unlock before protected credentials leave the vault
- Keep Autofill processing local on your device

Autofill depends on how each app or browser exposes login fields. Edge, Firefox, and many apps are supported. Chrome may not show third-party Autofill consistently.

Vault Security

- Create a vault PIN
- Unlock with PIN or supported Android biometric unlock
- Choose unlock mode from settings
- Auto-lock the vault after inactivity

Important Notes

Password Forge provides optional Android Autofill for filling, saving, and updating credentials in supported apps and browsers. Browser extensions and cloud sync are not included. You can still manage credentials directly inside the app.

If you export a backup, keep both the backup file and its passphrase private. Password Forge cannot recover a lost backup passphrase for you.
