Skin Scanner is an application based on artificial intelligence technologies and the experience of dermatologists. It helps to identify skin cancer, 6 types of acne and more. With our application, you can analyze the condition of the skin in just 1 minute.

Assess and track the risks of skin problems that concern you: various types of rashes, birthmarks, acne. Check your moles for risk, analyze neoplasms and papillomas. Using our application on a regular basis, you will be able to contact your doctor in time and avoid morbidities.

It is important that Skin Scanner does not replace or cancel a visit to a dermatologist, it does not diagnose or prescribe treatment. The application is just your mobile assistant for the skin self-control. We recommend that you contact your doctor immediately if you feel unwell or see a spot or mole on your skin start to change, itch, or bleed.

Ratings and reviews

You have to pay per scan/check AND a subscription, neither of which it tells you when you open the app. Literally useless unless you pay- and it takes about 2 weeks to get your results if you do pay, supposedly. Looks like several people have reviewed like this and I missed it. Seems like their general reply is that its free to download, so we shouldn't rate it badly even though the function of the app is behind a paywall. This app should be WAY more forthright about needing to pay.

The download itself is free. In order to get the results, even the first result, you have to pay. What was the point of me downloading just to hit a pay wall? I should have read the reviews. Dev need not reply. You can make the choice to update the app store to make the app what it is, subscription. I would pay if I could experience the app prior to paying. Or instead of a subscription, charge per photo/scan.

edit based on dev reply: if the essential function is behind a paywall, then the app should be a paid one and not free to download OR make it clear from the initial opening screen that the app is not free. you go through several steps, including uploading a photo, before you discover that this is not a free app. not the user's fault that this isn't more clear, so my rating stands. ------- don't say it's free if, in order to use the essential function, you have to pay. total bait and switch.
