[PASS Introduction]
We provide authentication services such as identity verification, PASS certificate, and mobile ID, as well as credit, finance, stocks, real estate, investment, health, living information, and mobile phone payment services.

Identity verification: Text and PASS app identity verification, authentication details provided
PASS certificate: Safe and simple authentication in various places such as Government 24, National Tax Service Home Tax, etc.
Resident registration card/driver's license: Convenient to use with the same legal effect as a physical ID

※ You can sign up and use only from a mobile phone in your name.
※ Customers with budget phones and corporate phones can also use it. (For corporate phones, you can register as an actual user through a dealer or 114.)
※ Driver's license service is available only to driver's license holders who are 16 years of age or older.
※ Those under 14 years of age can use the service after obtaining the consent of a legal representative registered with SK Telecom.
※ Those under the age of 14 cannot use certificates or identity theft prevention.

- Phone: Phone numbers are collected and used for user verification and authentication.
- Notification: Required for identity verification and authentication services.
※ If you do not agree, subscription to and use of the service will be restricted.

[Optional access rights]
-Camera: Used for QR authentication and photo taking.
- Location information: Used when using mobile ID.
- Contact information: PASS wallet, used when using service spam filtering.​

Ratings and reviews

This is a big basic problem the developers need to fix immediately. Many foreigners have special characters (특수문자) in their names. This is because immigration and even SK Telecom puts hyphens (대시) in our names for some odd reason. Example: DOE JOH-N. The PASS app won't allow special characters like hyphens. This makes it IMPOSSIBLE for many foreigners to register. I have programmed apps, and this is a simple bug that the PASS developers should be ashamed of.

If a review is posted in English, you should also reply to the post in English. I wonder when South Korea will get this simple, basic courtesy. Stop copying and pasting the same message in Korean; come up with at least a few versions in English - run a Google Translate at least if you are not capable.

I wanted to register all my cards online including my driving license. My name is quite long so the driving license official abbreviated my first and middle names so it could fit on the card. But now my mobile phone+ID card don't match with my driving license. And customer service isn't helpful either. They can't register my card manually.
