We provide authentication services such as identity verification, PASS certificates, and mobile IDs, as well as credit, finance, stocks, real estate, investment, health, lifestyle information, and mobile payment services.

[Key Features]

Identity Verification: Identity verification via SMS and the PASS app, and provision of authentication history

PASS Certificate: Safe and convenient authentication at various locations such as Government24 and the National Tax Service Hometax

Resident Registration Card / Driver's License: Convenient use with the same legal validity as a physical ID

ID Payment: Register ID and card to complete age verification and payment in one go

One-Stop Safety: From pre-detection of financial fraud such as phishing and identity theft to compensation for damages

Smart Ticket: Simultaneous verification of flight tickets and ID upon entry/exit of domestic airports

Pet Verification Certificate: Verification of pet information such as registration number, name, gender, breed, and neutering status

PASS Wallet: Issuance of government electronic documents and various credentials, National Secretary notifications, and issuance of certificates between individuals

Mobile Payment: View mobile payment usage history, check discount benefits, check and change limits, and check and change content usage fee (DCB) limits

Financial Benefits: Information and benefits on various financial products including loans, cards, insurance, and investment

Spam Filtering: Management of spam text message blocking, blocked numbers and Keyword Recommendations

[Service Eligibility]

- SK Telecom customers

※ Subscription and usage are only possible on mobile phones registered under your own name.

※ Budget phone and corporate phone customers are also eligible. (For corporate phones, registration as an actual user is required via a dealership or 114.)

※ Users under the age of 14 must obtain consent from a legal representative registered with SK Telecom.

※ Users under the age of 14 cannot use certificates or identity theft prevention features.

[Required Access Permissions]

- Phone: Collects and uses phone numbers for user verification and authentication.

- Notifications: Required for identity verification and authentication services.

※ Service subscription and usage will be restricted if consent is not given.

[Optional Access Permissions]

- Camera: Used for QR authentication and taking photos.

- Location Information: Used when using the mobile ID.

- Contacts: Used when using the mobile wallet and spam filtering services. ※ You can use the service even if you do not agree to optional access permissions.

[User Guide]

- Supported Versions: AOS 8, iOS 15 or higher

- If you are unable to use the app and wish to cancel PASS, please email [e-mail].

- PASS by SK telecom is a free service provided by SK Telecom. (Data charges may apply depending on your rate plan.)

- If you arbitrarily change your mobile phone usage environment (jailbreaking, hacking, etc.), this service may not function.

Ratings and reviews

If a review is posted in English, you should also reply to the post in English. I wonder when South Korea will get this simple, basic courtesy. Stop copying and pasting the same message in Korean; come up with at least a few versions in English - run a Google Translate at least if you are not capable.

This is a big basic problem the developers need to fix immediately. Many foreigners have special characters (특수문자) in their names. This is because immigration and even SK Telecom puts hyphens (대시) in our names for some odd reason. Example: DOE JOH-N. The PASS app won't allow special characters like hyphens. This makes it IMPOSSIBLE for many foreigners to register. I have programmed apps, and this is a simple bug that the PASS developers should be ashamed of.

How do you let the app and your services to be so useless while working with KEPCO and other serious organizations?? First, it demands me to use my mobile data not a wifi, second, there's 알뜰폰 option BUT eventually it says my number can't be used because it's a budget option.. What a waste of time and money! I can't use so many services because they somehow choose to work with PASS.
