Capital Public Radio App:

The Capital Public Radio App allows you to listen to Capital Public Radio live, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for all the Capital Public Radio streams at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for stories, bookmark a story for later, and wake up to Capital Public Radio with the alarm clock!

Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from Capital Public Radio even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Integrated program schedules for every station. You can display up to three of your favorites at a time or flick once to see the schedules for all of your favorite stations.

One star of my rating is because I love the station(s) involved. Clunky, the app usually requires at least two starts to begin the current stream, followed by a brief ad. This means that it is futile to attempt to continue a program from the car radio by starting the app because the phone must first disengage from its Bluetooth car connection so that minutes of the program may be lost. The audio quality of all programming is VG to excellent regardless of the source.

Operates just fine with one interesting exception. For my phone (Note 8), there is only one way to turn off the live radio feature, and that's to click "pause" within the app. With Android, there is the button on the left of "home" where you can view and manage your open apps. You should be able to close apps there by pressing the X in the right corner of the app card, or by swiping the card left or right until it disappears from the screen. No dice. Other than that, no complaints.

Better than before. They fixed the part where used to play ads 3/4 of the time. Now, it does stop playing about every half hour. When I start it up again, it generally plays the station ID, then "we get support from . . ." Which would be fine, if it did not stop, and skip part of the program.
