KUER Public Radio App:

The KUER Public Radio App allows you to listen to KUER, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for all the KUER streams at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to KUER with the alarm clock!

Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from KUER even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Integrated program schedules for every KUER stream!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.

• Access KUER’s programs easily and quickly.

I love the fact that I can listen to KUER from my phone even if I am in an area where they don't broadcast. Unfortunately, it has been my experience that listening on the app is very frustrating. It is frustrating because I experience frequent amounts of dead air. Then all of a sudden it resumes broadcasting and a have missed a significant portion of what I was listening to 🤬 Secondly the app appears to catch up with the on air broadcast and will switch from the story it is playing and switch

This is a great app overall, but the update made it worse in that the unskippable pre-roll now comes on even more often than before. Even when I don't restart the app and just pause to do something else for a while, the sponsorship often plays AGAIN when I return. To let us skip the sponsorship or at the very least limit it to once per day would be humane.
