About this app

Our application sends SMS alerts to your selected contacts with the coordinates of your location. It will help all people who travel alone, as well as older people, feel safe!

How does a mobile lifeguard work?
You add the phones of people you trust from the phone’s contact list. This is enough for the application to start working. If something bad happened to you or you need help (I hope this does not happen to you), you long press the red button (sos button) send SMS to all of you selected people.

It started sending the message randomly when I was not on my phone. Fix this and I will reinstall. I had the power button settings on 4 clicks. My phone was on the bed. And I had my family calling me making sure that I was OK. It happened twice in 2 hours. This was not fixed. This phone was on my desk and I was asleep and it sent out alerts. Uninstalled forever.

Needs an automatic alarm with unlimited alerts to let contacts know if I'm unable to get in touch with them, or if they haven't heard from me for that day, or if they have heard from me, then not to worry. Tried another app which did have an alert & a message attached, but had limited free alerts before asking for payment, so couldn't use it. I hope you will consider adding an alert & message for contacts.

Just did a test run with my wife... seems to do exactly as required. Good options for easily triggering it even if phone is locked. Location on Google Maps was pretty good; The app shows an address but the map pin-points the spot. Just sends normal smses with the map link, so no monitoring Co to pay. Advertisements are just a strip near the bottom and removable for just a few dollars if they annoy. I like it so far.
