WorkSense is the workforce app behind your working day. One install covers everyone in the organisation - office employees who mark their own attendance, supervisors who run a site crew, and administrators who approve what comes in. What you see when you sign in depends on who you are.
ATTENDANCE THAT MATCHES THE DAY
- Check in and out in a tap, with an optional photo so it is clear who marked the day.
- Location is read at the moment of check-in only, to confirm you are at your workplace. You are not tracked at any other time.
- Site workers can be recorded by their supervisor, so a labourer with no phone is never left off the register.
- Every entry lands in the same records as the web dashboard, in real time.
LEAVE AND APPROVALS
- Apply for leave from your phone and see your remaining balance before you send it.
- Managers see requests waiting on them the moment they open the app, and approve or decline with a reason.
- A shared calendar shows who is off, who is present and which days are holidays.
PAY AND DOCUMENTS
- Payslips and salary details, ready to open whenever you need them.
- Wage summaries for site workers based on the days actually worked.
- Your identity documents and personal details in one place, so HR is not chasing paperwork.
FOR SUPERVISORS AND ADMINISTRATORS
- A live roster of who has reported and who has not.
- Assign people to sites and shifts, and broadcast a notice to everyone at once.
- Add a new employee from the phone, without waiting for someone at a desk.
- SOS alerts from workers on site, with the location they were sent from.
- Commission wristbands and gateways over Bluetooth where the hardware attendance system is in use.

Most companies are not one kind of workplace. WorkSense handles salaried office staff and contract site labour side by side, under one organisation, with the rules for each enforced by the server rather than the phone. Notices, holidays and approvals flow to the right people automatically.

WorkSense is the mobile companion to the WorkSense web dashboard. Attendance marked on a phone, taken from a wristband reader, or entered by a supervisor all ends up in the same record, so payroll sees one number and not three.
PERMISSIONS AND PRIVACY
- Location: used only at check-in and check-out, to confirm the workplace. There is no background location tracking in this app.
- Camera: used for the attendance photo and for scanning worker codes.
- Bluetooth: used only by supervisors commissioning attendance wristbands and gateways.
