Smart Bible Reader app is a fast and beautiful offline Bible reader application containing both the Old and the New Testaments of different bible Versions.

It is designed with the user in mind and therefore includes great features like inbuilt notes, verse sharing, Multiverse selection, bookmarks, highlights, favorite verses, and advanced search options. The colorful design and combination of custom fonts make it a great bible reader app.


With the advanced notes a user can add a verse or many verses directly to the notes. A note can be shared fully on any sharing platform.
This version also includes the sharing of verses as images, making it a nice option for those who love Instagram.

The contents users create: including Notes, Bookmarks, Highlights, and Favorite verses are backed up in our servers so that when one changes devices or loses their phones, they do not lose their beautiful notes.

Ratings and reviews

This is a good app overall. It would be nice if it kept my place though. I'll go to read a couple passages and when I come back to the app it has gone back to the home screen. When I then check the history it will show a previous chapter I had read instead of the most recently read chapter. Translation context would also be nice but I understand the included cost of adding that so it's ok it doesn't have it.

Great app, very easy to use, copy verses with their references to paste on social media, and take sermon notes. The search function could be better, it works but it's a bit klunky. Also it would be nice to be able to take sermon notes in a duodenum font/colour to the text. But overall a great app, far better that any others I looked at. I'm happy to give it 5 stars in spite of the minor quibbles.

I enjoy it since the NIV is one of the best modern English versions and your app is user friendly. I like writing notes too. May I suggest though that the actual text may be brought up as well as the chapter, instead of having to scroll down thru the chapter to find the desired verse? The main problem I have with this app is that some texts are omitted, with footnotes. I'm sure other users also would prefer to have the entire text. E. g. Acts 28:32; the footnotes can still be included.
