About this app

The SmartCuffs app is designed to connect to your SmartCuffs 4.0 devices. Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training is a technique in which combines low-intensity exercise under reduced arterial flow conditions. BFR is quantifiably and objectively reducing the amount of blood flow into an extremity by using a specially made medical tourniquet. BFR allows individuals to use low loads yet achieve results similar to high intensity training.

The SmartCuffs 4.0 is the only wireless BFR cuff in the world that contains our TriPressure technology. This allows for 3 types of evidenced-based, research supported BFR (continuous, intermittent, and resting BFR).

there's a lot about what I expected from the description, photos, & advertising that simply doesn't seem to work in the app. It doesn't seem to save my calibration and it takes 2+ minutes to calibrate each legs. The inflation takes too long to be practical and the interval settings could just as well be a pause button as they are not automatic. The build is better than airbands but they aren't "smarter". The price difference is significant enough that you'd probably be better off with airbands

Meh 1) Be able to select all available devices. You can only do two in one session anyway. You should be able to select both of them and the app can add them one at a time. 2) Be able to name your session. and show the settings for that session 3) The scaling for the stopwatch (In android) in vertical mode doesn't scale properly. The numbers frequently are too big and disappear and re appear 4) The Cuff LEDs change color every time and some of the colors are very close.

The app struggles to connect but if I press connect over and over it will eventually work. The developer's response over email was very quick.
