This app is really well done. It has tons of useful vocabulary! The audio is fine, and the definitions are clear and accurate. It's colorful and holds my attention well. There are a lot of ads but if you don't want to pay for the pro version, then it's hardly an inconvenience. My only criticism is that they say I can view an ad for the pro content, but each time I click "watch ad," it says there are no ads to show, so I can't open the pro content.

This app (free version) gives a good cross section of everyday vocabulary in things i would say if i visited china. Sadly the sound pronunciation tarnishes this app - especially if spoken by the man they chose to do the speaking. His pronunciation of many chinese words does not correspond with the standard chinese pronunciation i hear in other chinese online courses. Other than the above misgiving, this app may help in extending chinese vocabulary. I am looking elsewhere.

Great idea. It would be amazing if you included traditional characters and if you could see an animation with the stroke order by clicking on the character. I study traditional chinese, so I was sad to see it only had simplified characters.
