About this app

The citizen services app of Balara Municipality (बलरा नगरपालिका), Sarlahi district, Madhesh Province.

Find out what a service needs before you travel to the office. Read notices the day they are published. Register a complaint and follow it through to a resolution. Most of the app works without an account, and everything is in Nepali.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Citizen Charter (नागरिक वडापत्र)
All 24 services the municipality provides, with the documents you must bring, the fee, how long it takes and the branch that handles it. Search by name or filter by branch.

• Notices and news (सूचना)
Tenders, vacancies, tax notices and public information, with the attached documents. Turn on alerts and your phone tells you when something new is published.

• Register a complaint (गुनासो)
Report a problem with water, roads, electricity or sanitation, with photos. You get a tracking number and can follow the status through to resolution.

• Hello Mayor (हेलो मेयर)
Send policy feedback or a suggestion to the mayor's office. You can send it anonymously; if you do, no identifying details are stored at all.

• Office bearers and staff (जनप्रतिनिधि तथा कर्मचारी)
The mayor, the deputy mayor and the municipality's branch staff — post, branch and phone number, so you reach the right person the first time. Ward office contact numbers for all eleven wards.

• Laws and by-laws (ऐन तथा कानुन)
The municipality's acts, regulations, directives and procedures, readable in the app.

• Photo gallery (फोटो ग्यालरी)
Programmes and projects the municipality has published.

• Office information (कार्यालय जानकारी)
Address, office hours, phone, email and map, plus the information officer's contact.

Residents of Balara Municipality's eleven wards, anyone who needs a service from the municipal office, and anyone who wants to follow what the municipality publishes.

No advertisements. No tracking. The app asks for your details only when you submit something that the office cannot act on without them.
