The Silent Wake Up (SWU) app requires a physical SilentWakeUp wearable device to properly access and manage all features of the app. The app and device communicate user inputted settings and actions via a FCC certified bluetooth transponder. These settings and actions signal when to activate and deactivate the vibrating alarm located within the physical SilentWakeUp device.
The Silent Wake Up (SWU) app sets the intensity level of the various vibration cadences and amplitudes felt by the user.

I am so disappointed with this. I was a Kickstarter backer. This product does not resemble the original design, took like 2 years to get to me, and the app is garbage! For an alarm app it is absolutely insane that there is no ability to set up a recurring alarm or multiple alarms! Seriously? I want to be able to set up my weekly alarms and never have to fiddle with the app again. As the app is now, I will have to select an alarm each night before bed... I don't know if it will be worth it.

Awesome device and an app that is easy to navigate. Two things that i would like to see in the future, if possible, are that you can disable the alarm from the lock screen and the option to allow phone calls to vibrate the device as well. Otherwise, my wife enjoys that my loud alarms don't wake her up anymore haha.

When I open the app, it tries to play a video, but the video is unavailable. The app is then unusable as you cannot move from that screen. I contacted support, they got back to me really quick at first. But now they have stopped responding. Great idea but a complete waste of money. Do not buy.
