Tiny Robots: Portal Escape is an exciting 3D puzzle escape the room game set in a robot world full of curious characters, colorful levels, and exotic alternative realities. Slip into the metal shoes of a young, smart robot named Telly. One day, as you are walking to your grandpa’s house, you witness his kidnapping. His garage is left thrashed, his inventions are broken, and all you have is a radio station connecting you to Grandpa. Who did this? What do they want? Quite the fun puzzle solver. There are ads but they're after levels and for rewards. The only reason I can't give the game 5 stars is because it's a little on the short side. You can complete the storyline in 10 hours or less. There are unlockables and mini games but the story needs to be 2-3 Xs as long for the last star. Still recommend downloading and playing though.

The games main gameplay of puzzle solving is fun, though most puzzles are extremely simple to solve. My issue with the game is the monetization model. It honestly doesn't make much sense. Most of the rewards unlock customizations for a character you don't even play. What is the point? I also think it is disingenuous to let players play several levels then ask for a rating and then immediately after that start playing ads (up to 1:30 long) between levels when there were no ads before that.

There's no way I can't give this game five stars. The ads are loooong, but the game was so enjoyable that I thought nothing of paying $5.99 to get rid of forced ads. The only ads I had to watch after that were the ones that I chose. The puzzles in the game aren't difficult, but occasionally I found myself struggling to find what I missed in a level, not wanting to get a hint (and therefore watch an ad). I found it stress-relieving and fun. Short, but so worth paying a few bucks.
