## 👨👩👧 Parent-Controlled Kids Mode
FutureTrack includes an optional Kids Mode that allows parents to create a focused learning environment during designated learning time.
Parents can open the FutureTrack profile, long-press Kids Mode, and select the apps they want to restrict while Kids Mode is active. Parents choose which apps are restricted; FutureTrack does not automatically select apps.
### 🔐 AccessibilityService for App Blocking
FutureTrack uses the Android AccessibilityService API specifically for its optional, parent-controlled Kids Mode app-blocking functionality.
When a parent enables Kids Mode and selects apps to restrict, AccessibilityService allows FutureTrack to detect when a selected app is opened while Kids Mode is active and apply the configured restriction.
The AccessibilityService is enabled by the parent through Android system settings. It is not enabled automatically, and parents can disable it at any time through Android Settings.
FutureTrack does not use AccessibilityService to record phone calls or remotely record audio. It is used to provide the parent-controlled app restriction functionality described above.
### 🛡 Parent-Controlled Overlay Restrictions
FutureTrack may display learning questions as an on-screen overlay during Focus Mode and Kids Mode. Other apps may also display overlays that interfere with the learning experience.
FutureTrack provides an optional parent-controlled setting to restrict selected apps that may interfere with the learning session. Parents choose which apps are included; FutureTrack does not automatically select them.
