About this app

Do It Mate turns your goals into shared commitments — because a habit you promised a mate is far harder to skip than one you only promised yourself.

Create a private group, set a habit, agree what a slip-up costs, and track it together. Everyone can see who is on track and who owes what.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Create a private group and invite friends with a code
2. Add a habit or goal — gym, reading, no sugar, early starts, anything
3. Agree the penalty for missing it
4. Mark goals complete, with an optional photo as proof
5. Miss a deadline and the penalty is logged for the group to see

FEATURES
• Private accountability groups — invite-only, no public feed
• Habit and goal tracking with flexible schedules
• Two goal modes: build a good habit, or break a bad one
• Optional photo proof so completions are not just a tap
• Streaks, badges and a group leaderboard
• Deadline reminders so a missed goal is never a surprise
• Group chat and a full activity history
• Balances showing exactly who owes what
• 20+ ready-made goal templates to start fast
• Vacation mode to pause a goal without penalty

GOOD FOR
• Gym and fitness commitments with a training partner
• Reading, study and side-project consistency
• Quitting or cutting down — smoking, sugar, doomscrolling
• Flatmates, couples and teams keeping each other honest

HONEST ABOUT THE MONEY
Do It Mate keeps the ledger, not your money. Penalties are tracked in the app so everyone can see the running total, and you settle up between yourselves however you normally would. There are no payments, no card details and no fees.

WHAT YOU NEED
At least one other person. Do It Mate is built around a group — solo habit tracking is not what it does well.

Free to use. No ads.
