SPANISH SUPERMARKET COVERAGE

Data from nine Spanish chains: Mercadona, Consum, BonPreu/Esclat, Ahorramás, Eroski, Alcampo, Hipercor, El Corte Inglés and Carrefour. Coverage varies by chain and grows with each update. The catalogue also holds a smaller set of products from Waitrose, Pingo Doce, Albert Heijn and the USDA database.

Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free filters match products that carry a verified label in the catalogue. Only part of the catalogue carries one today, and coverage grows with every update.

Nutrition data comes from each chain's own product pages and from Open Food Facts. Always check the label on the pack before consuming a product: information can change, and NutriValue does not replace manufacturer labelling. NutriValue is not affiliated with any of the chains named.

What’s new

Much faster start-up, and corrected pack sizes.

The catalogue now loads from a prebuilt index instead of being processed on every launch, so products appear almost immediately.

Some Mercadona multipacks had their pack size multiplied by the number of items inside, pushing them wrongly to the top of the "per euro" rankings. Around 700 products are corrected, so those rankings now reflect real value.
