About this app

Help us reduce the spread of COVID-19 by taking this quick, daily survey before going to work. Sonoma County’s Department of Health is asking Sonoma County residents to self-assess symptoms associated with COVID-19 each day in a survey that takes less than one minute. This is part of the County’s approach to protecting residents in the workplace and our community. Your participation will help us reopen the County in a responsible way as we work to revitalize our economy and mitigate risk.

Because your privacy is very important to us we will not be asking for any personally identifiable information in this app. Nor does the app use location tracking or collect any information other than survey responses. This app is for the benefit of Sonoma County residents and health officials only and no information will be used or shared for any commercial purposes.

The app is intended for anyone in the general public, citizens of Sonoma County determine if they may have symptoms related to COVID-19 before going to work. There are two parts to the app:

Resident Survey
Answer a few questions about symptoms and contact you’ve had with those who might have the disease. And then get specific recommendations based on the Sonoma County Public Health guidelines, such as to practice social distancing, talk to a doctor, or return to work.

News Feed
Provides up-to-date local information from trusted sources about the Coronavirus disease and its impact in Sonoma County, California. There will also be helpful feeds about topics such as appropriate face coverings, hand washing, and disinfecting surfaces.

Ratings and reviews

I understand why soco wants this app to be used, however we had multiple employees phones have issues (mainly with the iPhone version), this app becomes a pain. I suggest just printout a spreadsheet with the questions to use when employees arrive then enter and submit for each employee on the app later in day when you have more time than the morning opening rush. There is a online tool that does the same, but they made it hard to find so the app will get used. They want to justify the app costs.

It is a cumbersome app. It has an unnecessary window before you get to screenshot window to send to your employer. There is no share button so you have to screenshot. Very archaic.

Waste of time and space, county just needs to get past this type of over reach. No added value to any real data. Claims it does not track, yet seems to know where you are.
