About this app

DoomLift blocks distracting apps and unlocks them only after you complete a quick fitness challenge like pushups, squats, jumping jacks, or stretches.

Instead of wasting another hour doomscrolling, DoomLift turns that impulse into movement. Every unlock becomes a small win. Every challenge helps you break the loop.

No guilt. No boring habit lectures. Just a simple deal: Do the reps. Unlock the app. Lift the doom.

Why DoomLift?

- Block apps that steal your time
- Unlock them by completing fitness challenges
- Reduce doomscrolling in a fun, active way
- Build healthier screen habits one challenge at a time
- Add quick movement breaks to your day
- Stay focused without feeling punished

DoomLift is for anyone who opens social media “for 2 minutes” and wakes up 45 minutes later in the comment-section swamp.

Your scroll tax is due.

Pay it in reps.

DoomLift helps you reduce doomscrolling by blocking selected apps, such as Instagram, until you complete a configured reset challenge like pushups, squats, walking, breathing, journaling, reading, a timed break, or a water break.

Important permission disclosure:
DoomLift uses Android AccessibilityService API to detect when selected blocked apps open in the foreground. This is required for DoomLift's core app-blocking feature: when a blocked app opens while blocking is active, DoomLift returns you to its challenge screen until your unlock rule is completed.

DoomLift does not use AccessibilityService to read messages, passwords, typed text, contacts, or screen content. DoomLift does not record audio, does not change device settings, and does not send AccessibilityService data to Softotic or any third party. You can disable DoomLift Accessibility access anytime from Android settings.

DoomLift may also use Usage Access to estimate time spent in selected blocked apps, Camera access for pose-based challenge verification, and Activity Recognition or motion sensors for walking challenges. DoomLift is intended for productivity and general wellness only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, fitness, nutrition, or mental health advice.
Your phone wants you to scroll. DoomLift makes you earn it.
