About this app

The Avera Careflight Link app is intended for use by emergency first responders and hospitals, offering rapid emergency air transport via helicopter or airplane. App allows first responders to track their flight to their exact location in real time.

Approved app users can quickly submit a request for patient transport to a communication center utilizing the Flight Vector CAD application. The app sends vital information for a transport request, including GPS location for scene calls, unit and room number for transports between facilities, requesting agency or facility, patient weight and safety information. The information sent will automatically create a request within the dispatch software which improves efficiency and reduces the likelihood of errors. The requestor will receive confirmation when assets are on the way and see minute-by-minute updates displayed on a Google map. The visual display will show asset location, asset identification, enroute time and estimated time of arrival.

Registration is required for all users. Only users approved will have access to all features including the ability to request a transport. To get started, download the app and register your phone number. You will be notified if you are eligible to use the app.
