Request a LifeFlight Eagle helicopter, track our progress and communicate real-time with our Communication Center, all in the palm of your hand. LifeFlight Eagle’s “Launch LFE” app allows you to quickly request emergency transport for a patient from anywhere in the field or in the hospital. No longer do you need to return to a truck’s radio or to the nurse’s station before requesting transport. The app uses your device's location to help us quickly determine the closest LifeFlight Eagle aircraft, and to provide you the most accurate time of arrival. You can even track our team’s position on a live map as we are inbound and see our progress as we take your patient to the receiving hospital. In addition, the message feature allows you to communicate via text with our Communication Center on patient updates. Users must undergo training and be authenticated before they can use the app to request emergency transport.
