About this app

Print Doctor helps you find out why a 3D print failed, what to change first and whether the fix worked. It separates what is visible from what is likely, ranks the probable causes and suggests the smallest useful experiment instead of changing ten settings at once.

DIAGNOSE FROM PHOTOS
Take or choose photos of the print, add printer, filament and settings (or read them from your G-code or 3MF file) and tick the defects you see. Print Doctor checks photo quality, combines everything into one result and tells you which extra photo would help most.

ON-DEVICE ASSISTANT
On supported phones, a 3D-printing assistant powered by Gemini Nano answers follow-up questions on the device and can read your photos without sending them anywhere. Otherwise the local engine answers from its knowledge base.

OPTIONAL REMOTE AI
Remote AI interprets the photos with a large multimodal model. Before anything leaves your device you see what is sent and to whom, and you decide each time. Included as a small free trial and in the Plus and Pro plans. Pro adds a pre-print check of your slicer preview, photos in the chat, before-and-after comparisons and checks of your OctoPrint or Moonraker camera. All local features stay free.

SAFETY FIRST
Warnings for hot nozzles, heated beds, moving axes and mains electricity. Print Doctor never explains how to disable thermal protection.

Plus and Pro are auto-renewing subscriptions for Remote AI, billed through Google Play. Cancel at any time in Google Play before the end of the current period.
