TheSafeGrid uses Android VpnService to run on-device DNS filtering for parental controls. When protection is enabled, the app intercepts DNS requests on the child device, blocks domains configured by the parent, and shows protection status in-app. This VPN feature is used only for safety enforcement (not for selling traffic, proxy services, or ad injection). Blocked-domain and security events may be sent to our backend so parents can receive alerts, review activity logs, and monitor protection reliability.
