About this app

CLOC is project and task management built for independent consultants and small technical teams. It keeps every client engagement, its open work, and a dated record of what you actually did in one place.

This app is the companion to your CLOC account at cloc.in.

WHAT IT DOES

See where everything stands
Open the app and the first thing you see is what needs attention: tasks that are overdue, due today, or due tomorrow across every client. Below that, each active project with its open item count and progress.

Capture work before you forget it
Add a task in seconds from anywhere. Pick the project, give it a name, set a due date if it needs one. No forms to wade through.

Work the list
Tick tasks off as you finish them. Reopen anything you closed early. Edit the detail when the scope changes.

Keep the record straight
Log what changed on a project while it is fresh in your mind. Those entries become the work history you rely on when a client asks what happened three weeks ago.

Due date reminders
Choose the hour you want to hear from us and get one notification a day covering everything due, not a stream of interruptions.

BUILT FOR CONSULTANTS

CLOC assumes you work for several clients at once. Projects belong to companies, so the app groups them the way you think about them. Nothing here assumes a team of fifty or a sprint board.

REQUIRES A CLOC ACCOUNT

You will need an account at cloc.in to sign in. Accounts are created and managed on the web.

WHAT IS ON THE WEB, NOT HERE

The full CLOC service also includes a searchable SQL script repository, weekly status emails to clients, printable status reports, an API with webhooks, GitHub and Slack integrations, and a Microsoft SSMS extension. Those live at cloc.in.

PRIVACY

CLOC stores the project and task data you enter, and the email address on your account. No advertising, no third party trackers, no selling of anything to anyone.
