The violin, sometimes known as a fiddle, is a wooden string instrument in the violin family. Most violins have a hollow wooden body. It is the smallest and highest-pitched instrument in the family in regular use. Smaller violin-type instruments exist, including the violino piccolo and the kit violin, but these are virtually unused. The violin typically has four strings tuned in perfect fifths, and is most commonly played by drawing a bow across its strings, though it can also be played by plucking the strings with the fingers (pizzicato) and by striking the strings with the wooden side of the bow (col legno).

Violins are important instruments in a wide variety of musical genres. They are most prominent in the Western classical tradition, both in ensembles (from chamber music to orchestras) and as solo instruments and in many varieties of folk music, including country music, bluegrass music and in jazz. Electric violins with solid bodies and piezoelectric pickups are used in some forms of rock music and jazz fusion, with the pickups plugged into instrument amplifiers and speakers to produce sound. Further, the violin has come to be played in many non-Western music cultures, including Indian music and Iranian music. The name fiddle is often used regardless of the type of music played on it.

- Simple (Recommend for Beginner): Only use right hand for dragging Violin bow (Arco) or touching Violin string (Pizzicato)
- Professional: Use 2 hands. Use right hand for dragging Violin bow (Arco) or touching Violin string (Pizzicato). Use left hand for choosing note (frequency) in Violin string.
- No Bow: Use 1 or 2 hands press note for playing Violin sound

the good: having the ability to both bow and pluck w/o needing to change settings. the concept of holding down a string location to play a note. the bad: the change between notes is too jarring. there is no slurring, so you do have to stop bowing entirely to change the sound you want, sometimes it still does not play until the second time you bow the location. E string plucking doesn't work well. recc: Smooth controls more & have player pick scale 2 play instead of having all notes available.

it is nice app , because it contains basic violin lessons for begginers ,if you are looking for a good violin app contains lots of music for practicing you can also search your favourite song for practicing but only one thing , if you have not mobile data you can not search your favourite song but there are some songs like despacito,happy birthday and happy new year tune etc like that i am endng this but this maybe the that i searched for , although it's outstanding and this is my rating speech

Great idea! Just some things to fix and room for improvement. Some notes are incorrect (found one in highest string picking). The neck width could be all the same for easy access and double strings fret. Slides don't respond well. The note can't change until you pause the bow for a little. The bowing area could be all the same area for easy playing. You can mess up easily in the narrow areas. There could also be a bowing area between two strings which is for double bow. Also add vibrato please?
