Requires creating an account using an email address, including email verification, but it never actually sends me an email to verify. Yes, I checked the junk folder. Yes, I asked it to resend the verification, multiple times. Unusable.

This review/feedback is for my first 5 mins in app. Install was fast and easy 5/5 stars App asks if I have any experience (no) and gives me a beginner's guide 5/5 stars First task is learning characters. Starts quizzing me, hasn't told me what characters are. Every answer wrong 0/5 stars. No teaching happened for someone with zero experience, just immediate negative feedback. I'm going to have to find another resource to teach me things, then use the app as a self-test. Not what I expected.

With this app I was able to understand extremely complex kanji like "私" and "青" As opposed to my 6 year Duolingo streak, in which I learned how to count to 3 in Japanese (1, 2, 3!). I'm on my way to learning hirigana!! In just 2 weeks I was able to learn あ, か, and は!! I can finally move to Tokyo and get a girlfriend!! watashi wa arigautoo gosaimazu!
