Sound Oasis is the world leader in sound therapy systems. We take tinnitus therapy seriously and it is our hope that this application will provide relief for your tinnitus symptoms. This app was designed to complement our S-6000 Deluxe Sound Therapy System, but it works great as a standalone app too.

This app provides the following features:
- 24 free "made for tinnitus therapy" sounds.
- A unique 12-band audio equalizer which allows you to tune the frequency of each sound on this app. This will allow you to customize the sound to better suit your particular tinnitus frequency with the goal of greater hearing comfort as you sleep and relax.
- Information on how Sound Oasis and other resources can help you manage tinnitus more effectively.

How Does This APP Work?

The sounds in this app can be an effective tool to manage your tinnitus using sound therapy and sound masking to make tinnitus symptoms less noticeable. This masking effect can be particularly effective at night when the surrounding environment is quieter. By listening to pleasant sounds, particularly sounds close to the frequency level of your tinnitus symptoms, your brain will predominantly hear the pleasant sound instead of the annoying tinnitus noise.

Ratings and reviews

The S-6000 sound machine is good but the app is awful due to poor bluetooth controls. The machine needs to be actively playing sounds to connect to the phone app. Once connected, the app needs to be persistenly on in the background or it turns sounds off. If I turn off the app or disconnect bluetooth, sounds turn off and I have to manually turn the device back on. My expectation was for the sound machine to persist playing, even if the phone disconnected. I'll re-review if this is ever fixed.

The Bluetooth option does not connect....and I can see from other reviews, that it doesn't work anyway. I'm truly sorry I bought this overpriced machine. Overpriced garbage, as usual. The app is on my phone and paired. The Bluetooth says I need an app....that is already installed and paired. THIS JUST DOES NOT WORK!
