About this app

SoundRoom is a professional tool for scientifically measuring and analyzing room acoustics.

Using deconvolution (ESS) for high-accuracy RT60 (reverberation time) measurement, it visualizes your room's acoustic characteristics
across 6 frequency bands (125Hz–4kHz) and automatically recommends optimal acoustic treatment materials and required coverage area.

What's new in v1.7:
- RT60 analysis engine rebuilt with a full Lundeby implementation for better accuracy. Readings may shift slightly from previous versions (more accurate)
- Auto-suggested parametric EQ (PEQ) settings from your measurement — type them straight into your AV receiver or DSP
- Optional RT60 noise compensation (off by default, see Settings)
- Sweep gap now scales with room size to avoid reverb overlap in large rooms
- Faster recording pipeline and minor fixes
