■ Q&A
1) Can't run Secure Gallery(or Secure Gallery disappears)
· if you hide Secure Gallery's Icon in options, and then Secure Gallery will disappear. To run it, please put 'Widget' of Secure Gallery in Widget List and click it.

2) Media thumbnail and actual media is different
· Settings of phone 〉Applications 〉Stock Gallery 〉'Clear Data' and 'Cache Delete' 〉Rebooting phone

3) Can lock Secure Gallery when running it?
· enable 'Running Lock' option in Settings, then Secure Gallery will request a password when running it.

Been using for over a year, now getting "Media not found" error. Thumbnails are visible after typing passcode. Just won't open the videos. I initially figured these were totally lost sure to some app glitch. However, after a little research I found the pictures and videos are not really hard to find. Just connect your phone to a computer and it's in a hidden folder in the parent drive (in my case the SD card) called smartgalleryfree. You could also do from your phone's file manager app if you have one. Open that folder and follow sub folders (private> pics or videos). So it's not really hiding the videos or changing them into a secret format. It's just burying them in a hidden folder. You could of course do that without an app. I was under the impression that this was somehow using encryption to prevent someone from reading these files. Not the case! I found them and can read them without the app on my phone or computer! Not as secure as I thought.

I just discovered that of you take your files that have been locked by Secure Gallery and RENAME those files as a .jpg file and then the files can be read. A true pain in the rump but it works. I moved all my files out of Secure Gallary and into another app called Gallery Vault. I was havingsame as others - the program gives the option of hiding the icon. As soon as you do that, you can't run the program. My icon didn't disappear, but it goes to the app propties page. You're welcome in advance

Has been a great app for years. Now all of a sudden, my pics and videos and giving an error when I attempt to view them "gallery not found" update: I have lost a lot of images and videos thanks to this app. error:111 whatever that means. media recovery just causes the app to crash. over 2 years and no fix.... nice.
