For some reason it won't read Japanese up-down right-left even in Manga mode, so I most of the time have to use a whole separate app for the actual translation and only use this app for detecting the characters I can copy paste. Even when it does get the characters right and in the right order, the translation (no matter which method used) can be pretty inaccurate or nonsensical and I usually have to copy paste the characters to Mazii for an accurate translation.

Does what it says it does. I've tried other screen translators out there and this one takes the cake. It's fast, free (no paywall but there IS premium), has no intrusive ads, and is customizable. Not the most accurate, but it gets the job done. It's a little touch and go with the bugs, however; sometimes the on-screen button will disappear and you'll have to quit the app you're in and reenter, and sometimes translations will be stuck as quotation marks (") leaving them unable to be read. Solid.

I really like this app. It's a very useful language study aid. However, I have had issues getting the audio play back to work for Japanese and Spanish. It's strange because it works for English and Chinese. Also, it would be really nice if there was a way to see the pronunciation of words for non-alphabet languages like on Google Translate. I use this app mostly for looking up the readings of kanji or hanzi, so it would be very convenient to see the pronunciation on the translation screen.
