Xtra Hands is a family chore chart and allowance tracker that ends the argument about whose turn it is.

Most chore apps hand you a list and wish you luck. Xtra Hands runs the schedule for you. Chores rotate on their own, skipped chores carry over to the person who skipped them, and every completed chore posts to a real running balance.

Built by a parent of three who got tired of every chore chart in the house dying by week three.

A chore rotation that's actually fair

Assign household chores to rotate daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. The app decides whose turn it is, so nobody has to. And when someone skips their turn, that chore doesn't vanish. It carries over to them. "I did it last time" stops being an argument you can win.

Chores that happen more than once a day

Feed the dogs. Morning and night. Most chore trackers give you one checkbox for the whole day, so the morning kid checks it and the evening kid walks past a checkmark. Xtra Hands schedules chores at specific times of day, as separate slots, assigned to separate people. You know which one got missed and who missed it.

Seasonal chores that know what month it is

Nobody rakes leaves in April. Set a chore to run only during the months it actually matters, and it appears and disappears on its own. Yard work, gutters, pool care, holiday setup. No reminders to build, no lists to clean up in January.

Kids allowance with a real ledger

Give each chore a dollar value. Completed chores credit automatically, missed chores don't, and the running balance is always current. No bank account. No debit card. No interchange fees. Just an honest ledger both of you can look at when payday comes around.

Works for grown households too

Adult kids paying rent, roommates splitting a house, multigenerational homes. Assign chores, set values, deduct earnings against what's owed. The math is already done at the end of the month.
