About this app

Bubble Level turns your phone into a precise, smooth bubble level and inclinometer. It reads the motion sensors in real time, filters out jitter without adding lag, and shows clear readings to a tenth of a degree.

THREE INSTRUMENTS
• Surface: a circular bubble vial for tables, appliances, floors and tripods, with left–right and front–back readings.
• Edge: horizontal and vertical tube vials for shelves, picture frames and pipes. Stand the phone up to read plumb on walls, doors and posts.
• Angle: an inclinometer that shows the slope of a surface with an uphill arrow, or the angle of any edge, in degrees, percent grade and rise : run.
• Camera level (optional, experimental): a level line over the live camera view.

ACCURATE AND STABLE
• Adaptive smoothing: steady when the phone rests, responsive when it moves.
• Quick or precise calibration removes the built-in offset of your sensor. Precise calibration takes two measurements 180° apart, works on any nearly flat surface and tells you how much the surface slopes.
• Clear feedback when level: a color change, plus an optional vibration and sound.
• Hold freezes the reading, so you can read it even when the phone is in an awkward spot.
• A high sensor rate option for smooth motion on 90–120 Hz screens.

MADE FOR YOUR WORK
• Units: degrees, percent grade, mm/m and in/ft.
• Display precision of 0.1, 0.5 or 1, an adjustable level threshold (0.1° to 2°) and adjustable smoothing.
• Dark, light, AMOLED black and system themes, with dynamic color.
• Keep the screen on, lock the orientation and reduce motion.
• Layouts for portrait, landscape and large screens.
• English, Turkish and Arabic, with full right-to-left support.

SAVE AND SHARE
• Save measurements with an optional note.
• Search your history, share a measurement as text and undo a delete.

ACCESSIBLE
• Screen readers announce the reading and tell you when the device is level.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Every measuring feature works offline. No ads and no account.
• Usage statistics and crash reports go to Google Firebase to help improve the app. You can turn them off in Settings › Privacy.
• The camera is used only by the optional camera level, and nothing is recorded.

Tip: for the best accuracy, calibrate once on a flat surface.
