Ride - Driver is the partner app for drivers on the Ride platform. It is built around the things that actually matter when you are on the road — getting set up quickly, finding rides, navigating without leaving the app, staying safe, and seeing exactly what you earn. No bloat, no confusing menus, just the tools you need to keep moving.

WHY DRIVE WITH RIDE

Get on the road fast. Onboarding is built around three short steps: identity and KYC, vehicle details, and bank information for payouts. Each step saves automatically so you can pause and finish later without losing progress.

Bank setup with IFSC lookup. Enter your bank account and IFSC code once, and the app verifies your bank branch automatically. No paperwork, no branch hunting.

KYC document upload from your phone. Take photos of your documents directly inside the app. Re-upload anytime if a document expires.

Vehicle onboarding with smart fields. Make, model, registration, insurance, fitness — every field uses dynamic dropdowns and validation so you fill the right thing the first time.

Approval status, in real time. Once you submit, you can see exactly where your application stands. The app polls in the background and alerts you the moment you are approved to drive.

ON THE ROAD

Live ride requests. Incoming requests show pickup, destination, distance, and rider rating up front so you can decide quickly. Accept or decline with one tap.

Bidding-friendly. Where supported, propose your fare on the request and let the rider choose — fairer for everyone.

In-app navigation. Tap "Start" and the app guides you with a built-in map view that switches automatically from the pickup leg to the destination leg. No need to jump between Ride and Google Maps.

Stay visible while driving. A foreground notification keeps your live location accurate even when the screen is off, so riders can find you and you can stay focused on the road.

One-tap online and offline. Toggle your availability whenever you need a break. Going offline pauses ride requests and stops location tracking instantly.

EARNINGS AND HISTORY

Trip history with full fare breakdowns. Every completed trip shows distance, time, fare, and rider rating in a clean summary you can scroll back through anytime.

Wallet. Track your earnings inside the app. New payout features and statements are rolling out soon.

Ratings that matter. See how you are rated after each trip and over time. Honest feedback helps you grow.

SAFETY FIRST

Your safety is built into the app, not added as an afterthought.

• In-app emergency shortcut to call 112 with one tap during an active ride.
• Always-visible foreground service notification while location is being shared, so you know exactly when you are live.
• Permission-aware design — the app asks for what it needs only when it needs it, and you can revoke access anytime from your phone settings.
• Account verification and approval workflow keeps the platform trusted on both sides.

• Location, foreground and background — to receive nearby ride requests, navigate to riders, and share your live location during active rides only.
• Camera and Photos — to capture and upload KYC and vehicle documents and to update your profile picture.
• Notifications — for ride request alerts, status changes, and important account messages.

PRIVACY AND TERMS

By using Ride - Driver you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Both are linked from Settings → Legal and Policies inside the app and are kept up to date as the service evolves. We collect only the data needed to operate the platform and never sell your personal information.
