Works like it should Works great on a Dell laptop and a Samsung Tab A. Installation was easy and the extended desktop came right up. Lag is imperceptible for office apps. I liked the "Free for 10 minutes" feature; that's long enough to see if it works. The only negative is that after payment, the paid version installed again and the free version was still there. The free version was easy to uninstall, but it's just odd.
Works fine, I had no issues setuping it to work. I was using my Nexus 7 tablet. The picture looks good and even smaller fonts are nicely readable. What I don't like is the significant performance downgrade on the windows machine, even while working on the main display. The process consumes around 7-10% of CPU constantly, which is just too much. There's some button in the windows helper application to install some drivers, but it does nothing. Duet (works with iOS devices only) takes 1% CPU max. I'll give it a try in the future if the performance gets better.
It *works*. Win10 laptop (Asus T100) with Nexus 7 (2013) and my Huawei Honor 5x. There aren't that many options, but you *do* have multiple resolutions available, and if you set it to normal clarity with high refresh, you can actually watch Netflix on the tablet screen with the audio *almost* in sync 100% of the time. I suspect a faster PC would work even better. @1920x1200 resolution, it's usable as a reader. @ default resolution, my Netflix test, 960x600 or similar. NO OTHER APP I TESTED AND BOUGHT WORKED. Spent over $50 on apps, none worked. This one did.
Almost perfect on Galaxy S6 on my 6 years old dualcore home PC it worked right away as 2nd display. had to mess around abit with 12 core/dual monitor office PC, but eventually it worked duplicating 2nd monitor. as i work in video production, this is a good way for me to check them on smartphones before publication. Windows 7 on both PCs
Crashed my display adapter Windows started but would not show anything except a loading screen and the mouse. I happened to install splashtop's wireless version before so I was able to remotely do a system wipe. Unfortunately I lost all my programs because Windows is garbage but at least it's still working after a restore. I couldn't even search Msconfig to disable their drivers.
windows 10, Got stuck on a weird resolution after reboot unable to change it back to default one...After uninstalling the windows application and rebooting the computer I was stuck on a black screen... I had to restore the computer at an earlier date... Install at your own risk!
