Ratings and reviews

The newly implemented AI that 'continues' from where I left off in a podcast or song will start a completely new podcast or song, regardless of position that I was in before. Once it started playing Joe Rogan which I have never searched or listened to, when I had others in the queue. Again, there are fixes to things that aren't broken that then break themselves and make the app worse. If I leave in the middle of a song, I want to come back to that point!

A lot of missed low hanging fruit with this app. Breadth of available music is good. Smart shuffle and general recommendations are amazing. But no capacity to merge listening to Spotify songs with locally stored songs you own that aren't on Spotify. Google Music let you do this. Poor ability to merge playlists. It would be so powerful to define a playlist dynamically as being the union of two exiting playlists. Things like Wrapped are badly done, UI/UX is awful for this. Lots more issues.

Advertisements crash app. Used to be great but now full of ads even if you're paying to use the app. Spending hours with spotifys chat bot also doesn't fix anything. More adds now and more crashes (25/4). Updates only seem to make it worse. Should also include that music plays ok. It's only when trying to open a podcast which Spotify embeds advertisements into that the crash happens. The advertisements themselves are louder than the podcast which isn't great when wearing headphones.
