Has it's bugs sometimes but.. It's honestly one of the best music streaming apps on android. It also dynamical changes nitrate depending on if you're on WiFi or Cellular data which definitely has saved me quite a bit of money. Also, the ability to download songs/albums for offline play is amazingly useful. The UI is also one of the best I've seen for a music app which is a nice touch. There are a few bugs I've encountered but they seem to rarely happen.

Lovely & Perfect UI Even better than the Music App on iPhone! I had an iPhone, before my current Note7, and had been subscribed for nearly 7 months now to Apple's "Apple Music" on my iPhone 6. I was pleased to discover, after my iPhone decided to 'brick' itself and become unusable, that Android had an "Apple Music" App made by Apple themselves! I'm sure they've done this to cater toward a user in my situation that switched to Android. Which I am glad they have done so, to be able to enjoy all my music I had on my iPhone! :)

Poor On the off chance a song actually starts, there's then a good 90% chance the song will automatically skip. Started the 3 month trial and am put off in the first hour. Generated playlists seem decent but the app can't play them! Decent potential but Spotify is infinitely better

It freezes and skips. It's amazing when it works! The only problems are you can't listen to podcasts, you can't watch movies or television shows. It's music, music videos and playlists only. It's not like the real iTunes. The sound is great. But I'm struggling to see what makes it better than Spotify. The first 3 months free are great. They need to get past the beta version. Once you have access to everything ITunes has, it'll be good.

Best online music app available It has almost every song i have searched for till now. Some songs which were not available on other apps are available here. And it syncs with the itunes account so smoothly. Music quality is so nice. Everything is so perfect. My only suggestion is to further increase the paging, sometimes there are small lag issues, when there is some big app in background. Just try this one and you will never go back !

I want to love this but I cant.. I like Apple music as a service but this application needs so much work. 1st it crashes about 25% of the time randomly. Doesn't matter if you have the most premium android phone. Downloads only work half the time: the way offline downloads are handled is poor, need an option to select where you're storing music, not just the data of the app. Sometimes will not add specific albums to my music. Will randomly skip songs sometimes. Loading times even on fast Internet is slowish. When it works it's pretty good.

I am new to android, but still love Apple music I just recently got the Note 7. I am still learning about android and becoming familiar with it. Although spotify has more subscribers, Apple music is a much simpler platform (kind of like iOS). There are few bugs with the android version, but I have yet to find them.
Bugs WHATS WRONG WITH THIS APP. I MIGHT AS WELL JUST UNSUBSCRIBE. WHY DOES IT HAVE SO MANY BUGS LIKE THE INABILITY TO SYNC MUSIC RIGHT, REPLAYING SONGS HALFWAY FOR NO REASONS, DELETING MY WHOLE DOWNLOADED MUSIC LIBRARY AND ETC? APPLE, RECRUIT BETTER TALENT.
Love It Okay, I am an avid apple fan. I own an iPad Air 2, an iPod touch, and iTunes on my computer. When I saw Apple Music offered on Android, I thought it was a great idea. Despite the not so Rosey reviews from others, I know the potential of this app since it's beta release to it's fully operational App. In addition, I have full access to all of my music and extra features. I can say that I have not experienced any problems with it whatsoever. I have a Moto X and it functions very well on this phone.
No Airplay support No ability to connect to Airplay from this Android app (have several Airports around the house), thus not different from any other Android music app so will stick with Google Music and use my one Chromecast. Would be nice to be able to use the Airports to cast music, but that doesn't seem possible and doesn't seem to be on the horizon.
Simple and Clean (GS5) I've always prefer the iTunes store to many other options out there. The fact I can access my old library on my galaxy S5 is wonderful. The UI is significantly better than Google music, though it's still not perfect. There is the odd glitch with music not streaming when I hit play, and though I've stopped music when I disconnect from my unconnect music blasts through my phone. Download to phone option is always nice. However Apple and Google need to allow us to access owned content through 3rd party apps.
It's Even Worse Now I can't even listen to a full song anymore. The player automatically jumps to the next song after only a minute or two, and I can't do anything to fix it. Your app sucks, Apple. Fix the bugs before you update the global version and force us to deal with them.
Incredibly buggy I didn't expect apple's primary focus to be on Android apps, but this app is unbelievably buggy! Signing up took me 3 tries because it crashed everytime! Half of the time it freezes, crashes or skips songs! Not worth buying and not comparable to the competition! If it wasn't for the free 3 months trial I would have removed it immediately ;-)
Not sure why all the hate I haven't run into a single bug on my droid turbo. Its even easier to used than Google's music app in my opinion. The GUI layout is so simple and not nearly as confusing as the play app which just feels kind of messy and not really intuitive.
Won't let me sign in When I put in my id and password, it asks for a verification code. I get that from my ipod, but then I don't get an option to put the code in. I am then stuck in an infinite loop of frustration where I can't sign in but I have all of the information in order to do so. Would love to listen to all of my music. But I apparently apple doesn't want me to do that
Really? Edit: cant sign in? Clear your app data. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but this is by far one of the worst apps I've downloaded. I'd say "worst app I've used" but I can't even get past the sign-up. That's number one priority and they couldn't even get that down. Fix your priorities Apple. I've waited a year because I heard of many complaints of bugs and I prefer Spotify. Its been a year and people are still complaining.
Still many bugs While it has a great collection of songs rivalling that of Spotify's, there are still many flaws. You cannot remove a song from a created playlist for instance. Even when creating a playlist and adding songs and you tap twice on a song, it gets added twice and cannot be removed. It's really frustrating. Many songs take time to load and some don't download at all. Using a Moto G4 Plus- Android Marshmallow
Nice Music app made for android by Apple Seriously this app just makes me carry no music at all on my phone. There are some more tweaks to go in the UI of the app(a few bugs here and there) so that it gets smooth just as the iOS app. And thanks to Apple, there's no need for other Music apps, This has all the music in one place and the pricing is also reasonable.
Great app! Does everything I want it to do. I can save my own songs through itunes and take advantage of apple music on a samsung phone, which is why I made the switch from Spotify. Unfortunately, there are some issues I'm having. Music will randomly stop, skip tracks on its own and disconnect from Bluetooth. Also, it's slow and lags. I shouldn't have to wait for a song to load, it should play right away (especially when I'm driving), please fix these issues and this app has the potential to be 5/5 stars.
Pretty good Works well enough, though the queue is buggy and doesn't work well on my s6. Sometimes songs don't add to play lists and it would be nice if it asked you whether you wanted to duplicate a song on a play list instead of just adding. Other than that it's lovely
Unable to sign in Everytime I go to sign in, it says I need a verification code. I have an apple id and password, but it still won't let me sign in. Thank goodness for my Xbox music pass and groove subscription. Works just as good as Apple music.
Dodged a bullet I can't use it since I cannot enter the verification code they sent me. Edit: it's confusing but I figured it out... After being sent the code, you enter your user and password again, but type the code immediately after your password, in the same field
Am I dumb or? App isn't bad but apparently the only way to cancel your subscription is to turn off autorenewal. I've turned it off at least twice but every month I get an email receipt from apple and the auto renewal is magically back on. I can't be the only person this is happening to...
Why..? I have to pay a monthly subscription to access my own iTunes library full of songs and albums I have already paid licence for through apple. Just so you can push the IPhone with ITunes and not on android? Disgusting. This is how Spotify is winning.
I still have high hopes that this will be the music streaming service that I will be using in the long run. I have used and purchased iTunes music over the past ten years and I don't want that to just go to waste if I use Spotify. So far, I have found the app to have a lot of bugs, but has continually been improving with every update.
Hate it It crashes all the time!!!! Just shuts off or is loading the song. I use this for when I work out... But I don't have enough patience to stop jogging just to try to figure what the hell it's doing. Constantly skips song.
Needs improvement I love having access to my iTunes music library from my phone. Unfortunately, the app needs a lot of work. It constantly freezes up and skips. Even froze up my entire phone on 2 occasions and had to restart it. I've never had this issue until I got the apple music app.
Crashes immediately Liked it... until latest update killed it. Crashes immediately every time I open it. Uninstalled/reinstalled same thing. This is on a Nexus 6P running Nougat. For an app with 5 million downloads that's pretty disappointing performance.
Music control on lock not available. I love apple music. That's why I still chose it when using android phone. Would be really good if i can control music when phone is locked. Not sure if this is an android thing cos it's Apple Music or just a Huawei issue?
Cannot even compare to Google Play Music Wow. Where did Apple learn how to make a music streaming app so complicated and confusing? Not a fan of the service or Apple's total and complete lack of ingenuity in any of their products since Jobs died. Their phone, computer and software quality has been completely destroyed in the last 5 years. I'm so glad I switched to Android from iOS. Google play music is superior in every measurable way to Apple Music. This app crashes and is simply overly complex.
After update it's always crashed After update to v 1 it's always crashed please fix it ASAP after you fixed I will change to 5 star. It's still didn't fixed yet. I still spend money for apple music even though I can't played it. Please fix Apple music for Android !
Have to click add a few times. To add to My Music, multiple taps on the tick is needed and even then still doesn't add to my music sometimes. Really bad app for this platform. Wouldn't expect this from Apple in all honesty. App needs so much improvement especially on speed and reliability.
Songs don't play smoothly. Songs sometimes play twice. The G.U.I is horrible. My icloud music songs do not work unless I pay for Apple music. Poorly integrates with Android OS. Buttons too small..
Love the Service, hate the app. I love apple music and i have been a user for a year now. The Android version of this app has many bugs, and the most constant and annoying one is that none of the songs play through all the way, it randomly skips forward no matter what song i play or pair of headphones I am using.
Works well - but still some problems! Waited a long time for this app. Shame it s not the same as the PC program. Uses a lot of memory if you download your library and this can't be transferred to the SD card. Won't work on my tablet with 4.2.2 which is a shame. Otherwise it works well and I can't wait to give it 5*!
Polished; Minor Crash Bug Everyone complaining that it's Apple on Android, push that fact aside. Overall, it's a well done UI. Music selection is wonderful. The playlists aren't weird or filled with crazy songs like Spotify. The only problem I have is that the app crashes every once in awhile.
Ruins the experience of listening to music Although they have improved a lot of frustrating bugs , there are still lack of features missing , like streaming to Chromecast and controlling from other devices. Come on apple stop fluffing around
Just annoying as all hell Why can't I listen to the song I am listening to again? Can't rewind, can't go back one song. And if I stop play, it just looses whatever I was listening too and I can't find it again
Changing my opinion. I absolutely adored this app! Until i switched back to my Samsung GS7. Although it's no longer in beta testing, my personal library nor my playlists will not load. I've tried everything i know how to try. Apple support seemed baffled as well. Hope this is fixed in future updates.
Spotify is better I haven't experienced any bugs yet but compared to Spotify, Apple Music is lacking. Issues such as the music player closing out whenever an outside audio source is played and songs restarting from the beginning are just annoying. It's also missing the crossfade feature, which was a nice highlight on Spotify. Songs and albums you add tend to not show up in your desired save place. It's also an overall slower app than Spotify. Still needs a lot of work.
